This is a 6-day tour visiting and experiencing Jordan’s unique sites, and engaging with its people and culture.
Tour Highlights:

Itinerary
Welcome to Jordan!
Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport. Your driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals lobby to transfer you to your hotel.
Overnight in Amman.
Driving time:
QAIA to Amman – Approx. 45 minutes.
After breakfast, head north to walk through history in Jerash, regarded as one of the most important and best-preserved Roman cities in the Middle East. You will spend your time exploring and photographing the location.
Later on, this day drive back to Amman, tour the old city and walk through the old markets, viewing the Al-Husseini Mosque. Your driver/guide will take you through some of the back streets, markets and shops of the old city to practice some street photography techniques around the city center.
Then we head to the Citadel where you will get to photograph the Temple of Hercules, a Byzantine church, and the Umayyad Palace and the Roman Theatre, two of the Most popular archaeological sites in the city.
Overnight in Amman.
Driving time:
Amman to Jerash – Approx. 1 hour.
After breakfast, drive to Mount Nebo and wonder at the view where Moses looked across to the Promised Land and later died and was buried. Then on to the town of Madaba and discover the amazing Byzantine mosaics excavated from throughout the town. See the Madaba Map, the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Lands.
Continue south to the ancient crusader castle in Kerak, exploring the maze of stone-vaulted halls and passageways. The city of Kerak was the capital of Moab and the castle dominates the skyline. The castle provides an impressive insight into the architectural and military skills of the Crusaders.
Then drive to your hotel in Petra.

Driving distances:
Amman to Madaba – around 45 mins – 1 hour.
Madaba and Mount Nebo – around 20 mins.
Madaba to Kerak – around 2 hours.
Kerak to Petra – around 2 hours 30 mins.
On this day you will visit the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the 7 world wonders. Enter the city through 1KM long narrow gorge which is flanked either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. The site is massive, and contains hundreds of elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets.
In the evening, drive to Wadi Rum and enjoy the legendary hospitality of the Bedouin and their famous cooking.

Driving distances:
Petra to Wadi Rum – around 2 hours.
Enjoy a roughly 2-hour jeep tour that will allow you to travel around Wadi Rums valleys, canyons, dunes and deserts, discover rock inscriptions, majestic views of mountains and landscapes and narrow gorges. At each stop you have the opportunity to hike and scramble and explore in your own time.
Later this day descend 1,000m to the lowest point on earth, at 400m below sea level. Enjoy a day relaxing at the Dead Sea, floating in the salty waters, rest by the pool or pamper yourself with spa treatments.
Overnight at the Dead Sea.
Driving distance:
Wadi Rum to the Dead Sea – around 4 hours
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Time to float in the salty waters of the Dead Sea, relax by the pool, and experience the various treatments in the spa.
After this relaxing finish to your tour, you’ll depart and proceed to the Queen Alia International Airport.
