Wadi Rum – Explore the majestic desert of Wadi Rum
Aqaba – Take your pick of the water sport delights of the Red Sea, from snorkelling and scuba to windsurfing or just relaxing on the beach.
Day 1 – Arrival
Collection from the airport and transfer to your hotel. Depending upon your flight arrival time, we can offer additional activities for the day.
Overnight in Amman.
Day 2 – Orjan to Wadi Zubia – 14.8 Km, 6 hours
From the village of Orjan, we walk along the fertile wadi with its lush vegetation & gardens through the village of Rasoun. We head out of the village of Rasoun on dirt tracks past Olive groves & up steeply to the top of the ridge. From here we can see caves in the cliff sides and nice views back to the Ayoun villages. We continue to the Qabla ruins where we can see remains of houses, caves and quarries. We head west down the forested WadiZubia passing a cave spring and more ruins at Us.
Overnight back in Orjan with local families.
Day 3 – Wadi Hidan – 4 Km, 5 hours
Wadi Hidan located near Madaba south east Amman. This wadi includes some dramatic wild mountain scenery, and a surprising amount of vegetation and water. A beautiful black basaltic canyon filled with narrow gorges, surprising amount of vegetation and fresh natural pools.
Overnight in Madaba.
Day 4 – Dead Sea
Deep in the Jordan Valley and 55 km southeast of Amman, you will floating and relaxing, enjoying the sunshinewhilst trying out the invigorating mud bath to cleanse the skinat one of the most spectacular natural and spiritual landscapes in the whole world. Dead Sea, it is the lowest body of water on earth, the lowest point on earth, and the world’s richest source of natural salts, hiding wonderful treasures that accumulated throughout thousands of years.
Overnight in Dead Sea.
Day 5 – Wadi Hasa. 10Km. 6-7 hours
You will start the hike at Afra Hot Springs on the first day through the Wadi. Wadi Hasa sports magnificent hanging gardens, narrow gorges and hot springs. Its upper reaches are carved into white limestone, creating a playground of giant boulders. A dramatic change of scenery is displayed along its lower course, where the wadi cuts a spectacular canyon in red sandstone.
The night is to be spent next to the river in an area where the nearest city lights is a bit farther than 15km leaving us with the clearest stars.
Overnight in the wilderness.
Day 6 – Wadi Hasa. 10 Km 6-7 hours
You will start the hike through the Wadi and end at Ghor Safi. It’s a fantastic walk with relaxing views and multiple hot springs on the way to enjoy.
Overnight in camp in Petra the second night.
Day 7 – Petra
Marvel at the beauty of the ‘Lost City’, the Red Rose City of Petra, exploring its many caves and tombs. Walk through the canyon and be astounded at the magnificent Treasury, the entrance guarding the ancient Nabatean city, now one of the Modern 7 Wonders of the World.
Overnight in a camp in Wadi Rum.
Day 8 – Wadi Rum
MEnjoy the wilderness adventure of a 4×4 jeep tour of Wadi Rum, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, climbing sand dunes and rock bridges. Then drive to Aqaba.
Overnight in Aqaba.
Day 9 – Aqaba
Jordan’s window to the Red Sea, Aqaba brings a refreshing variation to the sands of Wadi Rum and Petra. Head to the beach club.
3- Scuba diving.
Return and overnight in Amman.
Day 10 – Depart
Free day and transfer to airport. Depending upon the time of your flight, we can arrange optional tours such as Bethany Beyond the Jordan, where Jesus was baptized.
All our tours are private tours, so we run it whenever you want. Just tell us the time and date you want to start. The best time to hike is from March through October.
All meals from Dinner on first day to Breakfast on last day. Lunch may be a light snack or picnic.
All tours are run in private, air-conditioned vehicles, with excellent drivers starting and ending in Amman. Some short local transfers will be in a open back 4×4 vehicle. Luggage transfer is included.
Accommodations in a variety of possible options: local family stays, camping and hotels.
We have English Speaking, Government-Licensed guides available for all our tours. Alternatively, you can choose the driver-only option
We provide local path escorts for all the hikes.
Please note that you will need to have a hiking guide in Ajloun, Wadi Hidan, Wadi Hasa and Wadi Rum even with the driver-only option.
