Explore Jordan during the Summer.
Highlights:

Overnight in Amman.
After breakfast, you will start your visit to Jordan with a tour of the old city of Amman exploring the Citadel and the Roman Theatre, two of the most popular archaeological sites in the city. Free time to walk through the old market in the downtown, visiting the shops and the fruits market. Stopping at local restaurants to sample falafel, hummus and the Arab delicacy, Kenafah, eaten at times of celebration.
Head north to walk through history in Jerash, regarded as one of the most important and best preserved Roman cities in the Middle East.
Drive to Ajloun and visit the castle, dominating the Ajloun skyline and built to ward off the Crusader armies at the key trade and pilgrimage intersection between Jerusalem, Cairo, Damascus and Mecca.
Driving distance from Amman to Jerash – Approx.1 hour.
Jerash to Ajloun – Approx. 40 mins.
Overnight in Ajloun.
After having breakfast in Ajloun you will drive to the lowest point on earth to float and relax at the Dead Sea. Enjoy the sunshine and view whilst trying out the invigorating mud bath to cleanse the skin.

After breakfast & morning leisure, drive to Wadi Mujib , one of the canyon’s highest waterfalls, you will have a short Trail (2-3h) called Siq Trail.
The trail starts at the Visitor Center near the Mujib Bridge,where you will take the cantilevered walkway overthe dam and follow thecourse of the river between towering sandstone cliffs to the base of a large waterfall.Depending on seasonal rainfall levels, the gorge may contain pools deep enough for swimming. This is an ideal walk to take slowly and enjoy the cool water and shade, especially in the heat of the summer.
After your finish your tour in Mujib, continue south to the ancient crusader castle in Karak, exploring the maze of stone-vaulted halls and passageways. The city of Karak was the capital of Moab and the castle dominates the skyline. The castle provides an impressive insight into the architectural and military skills of the Crusaders.
At the end of your tour drive to Dana.

After breakfast, we start our tour with a transfer to the start point of the hike. This circular trail traverses from Al-Barrah, through a breathtaking siq, and to Shaq al Reesh, the hike is rated Moderate and is about 9 KM ( appx. 4 hours) but can be shortened depending on groups ability.
Drive south towards Shobak castle; for a panoramic tour and a chance to take a few great shots, as the castle is perched on the side of a rocky and conical mountain.
Driving distance from Dana onto Shobak takes around 35 mins.
Overnight in Shobak.
After breakfast, you will hike in one of the most spectacular canyons in Jordan of Wadi Ghuweir. You will have 6-8 hours of hiking the Wadi. You will go through a 2km Siq (gorge) similar to that of Petra, with the possibility of swimming in some water tain pools. You also need to pay attention to the fact that you will need to do some technical scrambling where you will need to use the strength of your upper body to pull yourself at some parts during the hike. The hike will start from Mansoura (After being transferred from Shobak).
By the end, transfer to Little Petra for overnight.

Driving Distance from Feynan Ecolodge Reception centre to Little Petra: around 1 hour
After breakfast it’s time to start your hike. Enter Petra via The Back Door avoiding most of the tourists. Good tracks go pleasantly down Wadi Ghurab amidst sandstone mountains guarding the approaches to Petra. This way follows a Nabataean route out of the valley and skirting round the final mountain on a natural rock terrace which has been improved for the safety of walkers. Even so, it still narrows slightly before reaching a hidden plateau high above the impressive chasm of Wadi Siyyagh.
Just beyond, carved into the cliff face, The Monastery suddenly comes into view, where there is a Bedouin cafe or refreshments if you would like. Nabataean steps then lead down into ancient Petra; through which the route goes before exiting past The Treasury and though the famous Petra Siq to the shops, cafe and hotels of Wadi Musa.
Later on this day you will be transferred to Wadi Rum for 2 hours sunset Jeep Tour and overnight camping.

Hiking 4-6 Hours (Depending on the time spent inside the site of Petra).
Driving Distance from Petra to Wadi Rum: around 2 hours
Overnight in Wadi Rum.
After your breakfast; you’ll be transferred to Aqaba to enjoy a boat ride with views across Jordan, Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Time to swim and snorkel from the boat, over coral and view the fantastic range of tropical fish. The ride will give you the opportunity to see the fascinating view of the underwater world. Passengers are treated on the boat with lunch and salads, mineral water.

Overnight in Aqaba.
Driving distance from Wadi Rum onto Aqaba: Approx. around 1 hr.
The boat ride is a weather permitting activity.
After checking out from hotel you have a free day to spend relaxing as you choose or return back to Amman at your most convenient time.

This trip includes 3 days of non-continuous hiking; covering 9 KM + 16 KM + 14 KM.
In addition to the hike in the canyon full of water for around 2-3 hours where you will hike, wade and swim and in some parts of the trail they would need to scramble and abseil.
This hike requires a significant amount of upper body strength as ropes and ladders are used to climb throughout the water.
Therefore, you need to have a reasonable level of fitness to enjoy it.
Wadi Rum:
The Classic tent features a comfortable bedroom with 2 beds with no AC and shared toilet and showers.
Upgrade to Deluxe tents is optional (subject to extra supplement). Deluxe tents are classic style Bedouin tents with AC and private bathroom. NOT a Bubble, Dome or Martian tents style.
Little Petra:
Rooming on a twin-share basis.
These are fixed site, tourist Bedouin Camps, staffed by locals. Bathrooms are normally off-suite, with Women’s and men’s public bathroom. The tents do not have A/C or heater, but the desert normally has cooler temperatures at night.
Upgrade to Deluxe tents is optional (Subject to extra supplement). Deluxe tents are classic style Bedouin tents with AC and private toilets and showers.
