Itinerary

Pick-Up Details: We will pick you up from your hotel in Amman (exact time to be confirmed) to begin your northern adventure.

Jerash: Your first stop is Jerash, a remarkable site featuring some of the most extensive and best-preserved Greek and Roman architecture outside of Italy. Wander through its colonnaded streets, grand theaters, and ancient plazas that bring history to life.

Ajloun Castle: Continue with a scenic drive through rolling hills covered with olive trees and light forests to reach Ajloun Castle. Perched on a hilltop in the Mount Ajloun district, this 12th-century fortress is an outstanding example of Islamic Ayyubid military architecture and offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Finally, we arrive in Umm Qais for dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Umm Qais: After breakfast, delve deeper into the ancient ruins of Gadara, a prominent city of the Decapolis dating back to the Hellenistic and Roman periods. Discover its fascinating history as you explore the ruins of theaters, streets, and other structures that speak to its vibrant past.

Engage in seasonal local experiences and interact with local families to learn more about their traditions and culture, making your visit both enriching and memorable.

Lunch with local family: After a morning of learning about the history and culture of Umm Qais, it’s time to savor a delicious home-cooked meal in a local family home.

Return to Amman: After your tour, your driver will take you back to your pick-up location in Amman.
