Diverse Landscapes by E-Bike – Ride from Dana’s highlands to the deserts of Wadi Araba ...

Jordan’s rich culinary heritage, vibrant culture, ancient history, and breathtaking landscapes come together in this immersive nine-day journey across the Kingdom. Designed for travelers seeking authentic local experiences, this itinerary blends Jordan’s iconic landmarks with hands-on food experiences, traditional hospitality, and meaningful cultural encounters.
Begin in Amman, where ancient ruins overlook lively markets, cafés, and vibrant street food scenes, before exploring the remarkably preserved Roman city of Jerash and enjoying a curated Jordanian wine tasting experience. Travel along historic biblical and trade routes to Mount Nebo and Madaba’s famous mosaics before continuing south to Petra, the legendary Nabataean city carved into rose-red cliffs.
Throughout the journey, connect with local communities through cooking classes, family-hosted meals, and authentic dining experiences that showcase Jordanian traditions and regional cuisine. In Petra and Wadi Rum, experience Bedouin hospitality, desert adventures, and unforgettable evenings beneath the stars before continuing to Aqaba on the Red Sea for relaxation and marine experiences.
Conclude your journey in the heritage city of As-Salt with a traditional local lunch and a tasting of locally produced Jordanian beer, offering a final glimpse into Jordan’s rich cultural identity before returning to Amman.
Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport, where your driver will meet and transfer you to your hotel in Amman. One of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, Amman blends ancient history with modern urban life, creating a unique and welcoming atmosphere.
Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to relax after your journey or begin exploring the capital at your own pace.
After breakfast, travel north to Jerash, one of the most remarkably preserved Roman cities in the Middle East. Walk through its ancient colonnaded streets, grand plazas, temples, and theatres while discovering the legacy of the Roman Empire in Jordan.
Later, return to Amman to explore the historic heart of the city, including the Citadel and the Roman Theatre. Wander through the lively downtown markets, pass by Al-Husseini Mosque, and experience the flavors of Jordan through a guided street food experience featuring local favorites and traditional Arabic specialties.
In the evening, discover another side of Jordanian culture during a wine tasting experience showcasing locally produced wines.
Depart Amman and travel to Mount Nebo, the sacred site believed to be where Moses viewed the Promised Land. Enjoy panoramic views across the Jordan Valley before continuing to Madaba, famous for its remarkable Byzantine mosaics and the renowned Madaba Map.
Later, join a hands-on cooking class with a local host, where you will prepare and enjoy traditional Jordanian dishes while learning about local customs, family traditions, and regional cuisine.
Continue south to Petra for overnight.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in Petra, followed by a live Kunafa experience, where you will watch this beloved Middle Eastern dessert being freshly prepared. Kunafa is a warm, sweet pastry made with fine shredded dough, layered with soft cheese or cream, baked until golden, and soaked in fragrant sugar syrup; served fresh and often topped with pistachios.
Spend the day exploring Petra, Jordan’s most iconic archaeological treasure and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Accompanied by your guide, walk through the dramatic Siq before arriving at the breathtaking Treasury.
Continue through the ancient Nabataean city along the Street of Facades toward the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle while learning about Petra’s fascinating history and architecture.
During your visit, stop for a traditional lunch hosted by a local family inside Petra, offering an authentic glimpse into local hospitality and daily life.
Return to your hotel in Petra for the evening.
Begin the morning with a breakfast cooking class in Petra, learning to prepare traditional Jordanian and Bedouin breakfast dishes alongside local hosts.
Later, travel south into the spectacular desert landscapes of Wadi Rum. Explore towering sandstone mountains, canyons, sand dunes, and ancient inscriptions during a roughly 4-hour Jeep tour through the protected desert wilderness.
Enjoy a traditional Bedouin lunch in the heart of the desert before returning to camp for a traditional dinner and an unforgettable evening beneath the stars.
After breakfast, transfer to Aqaba on the shores of the Red Sea. Enjoy a boat ride with stunning views across Jordan, Israel, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia while discovering Aqaba’s vibrant marine life.
Spend time swimming and snorkeling above colorful coral reefs and tropical fish, experiencing the beauty of the underwater world of the Red Sea.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant featuring a traditional Aqaba dish, offering an authentic taste of the region’s coastal culinary traditions.
Depart Aqaba and journey north through Jordan’s dramatic desert landscapes toward the historic city of Kerak. Visit the impressive Kerak Castle, one of the largest and best-preserved Crusader fortresses in the region, known for its underground passageways, stone corridors, and panoramic views.
Following your visit, enjoy a traditional Jordanian lunch featuring Mansaf – Jordan’s national dish and one of the country’s most cherished culinary traditions.
Continue to the Dead Sea for an evening of relaxation at the lowest point on Earth.
Depart from The Dead Sea and travel to the world heritage city of As-Salt, a hillside town known for its golden stone architecture and rich cultural history.
Discover As-Salt’s rich heritage and its long history of harmony between different religious and cultural communities. Visit historic mosques, churches, and beautifully preserved heritage buildings while learning about the traditions and stories that define this distinctive Jordanian city. Enjoy a traditional local lunch in As-Salt, followed by a tasting of locally produced Jordanian beer, offering a modern perspective on Jordan’s evolving culinary and beverage culture. Later, return to Amman for your final evening in Jordan.
Transfer from your hotel in Amman to Queen Alia International Airport for your departure flight.
We wish you a safe and pleasant journey home.
