Walking the wadi

This was the first organized excursion I went to in Jordan, and I couldn’t have been happier at the end. As someone who has trekked and hiked a lot, I could really appreaciate both the friendliness and preparation of Experience Jordan’s staff. I could see how everything had been taken care of, while at the same time leaving enough room for some good adventure. Food was provided, cooked on fire as opposed to just handing out sandwiches!
Our company was pretty much of a motley crue, but the group was easily kept together, in a relaxing atmosphere despite the over 6 hours of walking.
The site was also extremely well chosen – a beautiful wadi, at the edge of the Dead Sea, with fresh and clean water streaming down in beatiful waterfalls.
Last, for 25JD (some 33USD), it was totally worth it – I had to think about nothing, just enjoy teh whole thing.
I will definitely joing these guys again during my stay in Jordan.
